Camfil Farr PuriFarr® Models 40 and 400 HE (high efficiency) liquid filters provide superior wear protection to power assemblies, electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems and other components. Their dual-stage design contains several times the media area of conventional single-stage filters, for higher efficiency, greater dirt-holding capacity and longer service life.
Both models feature a unique two-piece design pioneered by Camfil Farr for optimum maintenance ease and safety. The filter element breaks down into sections after use, reducing lifting weight by 50%.
The PuriFarr 400 & 400 HE:
- Weigh less that 30lbs. each when saturated. Used element halves are easy to remove and carry.
- Exclusive scalloped end pan eliminates fluid spillage during changeout and enhances flow around the filter.
- Dual stage filtration ensures more complete removal of all size contaminants.
- Large 3" steel inner core allows PuriFarr elements to operate at a very low pressure drop. The results: longer filter life and more efficient operation.
- String wrap ensures pleat stability, even if shell wrap around the element should loosen.
Element fits a wide range of fuel, lube oil and wayside applications, reducing filter inventory requirements. Camfil Farr also offers a single piece dual-stage filter, the PuriFarr Model 200, for customers who prefer a one piece element.
