
The Camfil Farr Aeropleat IV extended surface pleated filter offers more media for high dirt loading applications. The Aeropleat IV has a of MERV 7 when evaluated per ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007 and a MERV-A of 7 when evaluated under Appendix J of that Standard.
As a stand alone filter, the Aeropleat IV will remove many of the contaminants associated with today's indoor air quality concerns. Available in 1", 2" and 4" depths, its increased media area offers an extended service life when compared to standard capacity pleated filters.
Built for Today's HVAC Systems the Aeropleat IV:
- Has 15 pleats per linear foot (2” deep model) in a radial pleat design for full use of media area, 4” deep model has 11 pleats per foot and 1” model has 16 pleats per foot.
- Has a cotton and synthetic media blend provides medium grade ASHRAE performance and high dust-holding capacity. The media is manufactured from 100% recycled materials in accordance with Camfil Farr’s sustainable initiatives.
- Includes a welded wire media grid that is treated for corrosion resistance and to prevent media oscillation or pull-away. The wire grid is manufactured from reclaimed metals in accordance with Camfil Farr’s sustainable initiatives.
- Has a Kraft board frame that creates a rigid and durable filter pack. The frame is made of virgin board produced under an initiative for sustainable forest management. Virgin board has up to two times the strength of board constructed of recycled materials. The pack will withstand 2.0” w.g. without failure.
Applications include commercial buildings, educational facilities and specialty manufacturing. As a prefilter the Aeropleat IV offers protection that the higher efficiency final filters require for today's high technology applications.
