Camfil Farr bags are available with various options, and meet stringent industry requirements. Bags are constructed of a translucent 8-mil thick poly chloride that allows service personnel to view progress as filters are changed.
Each bag has an elastic shock cord hemmed into the mouth of the bag so the bag fits securely around housing opening. Every bag is identified on a label attached to the shock cord at the bag opening. Each bag includes three glove openings. This additional opening facilitates easier handling of filtration during change and provides a convenient used bag removal receptacle.
Camfil Farr Bags features include:
- Banding kits that include a case/lap apron, a heavy duty tie-banding gun, PVC bag cutting shears, a 7" cinching Velcro security/safety strap and ten 100 lb. tensile strength banding ties.
- Kit which includes every item and tool needed to facilitate a filter change
- Nylon security strap that helps hold the bag over the bagging ring during the change-out process. Security strap includes a reverse ring and Velcro strips to secure ends
- A cinching strap which prevents the bag from being drawn into the housing during operation. The strap is tied at a point near the lip of the door opening. Bag slack is stored behind the housing door
- Banding ties are used to isolate items of disposal from the newly installed bag section and filters. Camfil Farr banding ties have a tensile strength of 100 lbs. and are shipped in packages of ten.
Camfil Farr can also supply custom-sized replacement bags for any brand of bag-in/bag-out housing. The only information required is the bagging ring circumference and the number of glove sleeves.
