This software takes into account all important factors such as installation issues, ductwork condition, filter replacement, energy consumption, purchase costs, maintenance, and waste disposal. EN 1822 software program

Camfil Farr EN 1822 software, provides users of high efficiency filters with comprehensive information about HEPA/ULPA selections. By inputting the actual filter dimensions, desired efficiency, airflow or face velocity, the program automatically calculates the actual efficiency at 0.3 µm and at MPPS (Most Penetrating Particle Size). The typical and maximum air resistance and the actual size of the most penetrating particle (MPPS) are also calculated.

Chemical/carbon filter software program

The Camfil Farr chemical/carbon selection program is designed to help users and design engineers to estimate lifetime and efficiency of chemical/carbon filters against specific target gases at given concentrations. The software programs clearly demonstrate Camfil Farr’s continuing commitment to serve our customers and optimise filter selection for the microelectronics industry.

Cleanroom design software

Camfil Farr has designed a software program which can simulate the actual operating conditions when multiple parameters are selected:

Selection options include:

  • Particle size of interest, 0.1, 0.3 or 0.5 micron
  • Particles generated from the process and activity from people in the room
  • Dimensions of the room
  • No. of air changes/airflow
  • Ventilation effectiveness
  • Amount of recirculated air from 0 – 100%
  • Pre and terminal filter efficiencies
