Camfil Farr Gigapleat filters are a range of unique products based on the use of adsorbents that are incorporated in a non-woven fiber web. The adsorbents may be made from a very high quality carbon or ion-exchange resin. Variants are available for the removal of acids, bases and condensables.
The media is pleated into flat panels and the panels are mounted in a holding frame (cell, panel or header type). Camfil Farr expertise in pleating concepts and techniques ensures that the optimum combination of factors is obtained. In particular high efficiency and capacity values are achieved at low pressure loss.
The Camfil Farr Gigapleat XPC features:
- Durable stainless steel frame
- Four removable sheet metal profiles for easy replacement of media panels
- Exchangeable media packs
- Low out-gassing components (all tested)
- Standard pleat height and density
- Colored labels on panel for fast identification
- An option to combine two layers of media
There are four principal differences in the characteristics of carbon and ion exchange resin capacity, by-reaction sensitivity, selectivity and oxidation sensitivity. These differences may be exploited to enhance product performance for specific applications.
