The Pamic air compressor filter offers the highest level of efficiency in filtration available today for locomotive air compressors.
The Pamic filter is manufactured and marketed by Camfil Farr with a design to withstand the higher operating air temperatures, as well as the air pulsation pressures peculiar to the performance of a compressor, as opposed to an internal combustion engine.
The Pamic Air Compressor Filter:
- Uses a high temperature paper as well as a high temperature plastisol type of material to achieve the performance required.
- Provides maximum performance with a positive strainer type filter that operates at peak efficiency, regardless of intake air velocities.
- Cartridge is a special pleated construction to provide maximum filter surface area for space allocation.
- The cartridge will remove 99.95% of all air borne dirt and will maintain efficiency at all flows regardless of dirt concentration.
- Requires only an annual change-out in many instances.
- Reduces filter costs related to change-outs and required inventory of cartridges.
The Pamic filter is readily applied to all water cooled compressors and can be adapted to the older air cooled compressors.
