Farr-Air Type EC-2 Filter Assemblies are available in a range of sizes that can be properly adapted to most engines, air compressors and other industrial equipment which requires clean intake air. These high velocity, impingement type filter units are designed to withstand severe operating conditions and are liberally engineered to assure peak filtration performance.

The EC-2:
- Structural design of the herringbone-crimp wire cloth media permits the filter cartridge to load progressively. This results in more even distribution of dirt throughout the media.
- Filter cartridge is encased in a steel housing with smooth rolled edges for safe handling.
- The 2" thick media packs are separated by a layer of expanded metal, and media is reinforced with 1/8" steel rods, welded to the housing for added rigidity.
- Adapter is high strength aluminum casting with standard I.P.S. thread, and permanently attached gasket cemented to assure positive air seal.
Cartridges containing ordinary dust loads may be easily cleaned with a pressure nozzle hose and a water pressure of 30-40 p.s.i.
