Most air filters for this segment are installed in ventilations systems in schools, offices, homes hospitals and airports, among other facilities, in order to provide the basis for a clean and healthy indoor environment. In Europe, bag filters are dominant, with Hi-Flo being the most common product. In the U.S., compact filters with pleated filter media are more common. The best known is 30/30 pleated panel filter. |
;) | Business area: Power systemsCamfil Farr is a leading supplier of heavy-duty filtration and noise control equipment for major power generating and offshore operators worldwide. Camfil Farr products are being used in every conceivable operating environment around the world to protect gas turbines from erosion and fouling for higher efficiency and production economy, and longer running times with lower emissions. Land-based, offshore and marine systems are supplied, as well as retrofits and upgrades. The Power Systems unit manufacture intake systems, enclosures and other huge sheet-metal constructions to protect gas turbines. These products are manufactured in Montreal Canada and Borås, Sweden. |
