Comfort filter production in Levice, Slovakia
Camfil Farr is growing in Europe, and as part of the company's continuing expansion plans, In October Camfil Farr opened its 23rd production plant, Camfil s.r.o, in Levice, Slovakia. Levice is situated three hours from Vienna and two hours from Budapest.
The new plant in Slovakia will manufacture products for existing European markets and emerging East European markets. The facility also gives Camfil Farr an added benefit when it comes to increasing customer value in terms of service and product quality. With the new plant in Levice, Camfil Farr will be able to reach new markets and customers that were inaccessible before.
The current building in Levice is 9,000m² but can be expanded by another 15,000m² as production needs increase. With existing machinery and personnel, Camfil Farr can produce more than one million pocket filters per year, based on a two-shift operation, in Slovakia.
