Camfil Farr CDM-R1 Media is the finest dissusion media developed to optimize performance in cross-draft spray booths. CDM-R1 media has been specifically designed for use in cross-draft spray booths to enhance airflow distribution and to provide a final filtration barrier against airborne paint-damaging particles.
CDM-R1 media is contructed from unique high performance, unbreakable fibers. There fibers are used to creat a progressive density multi-layer material that ensures high depth loading, unmatched uniformity and optimal pressure drop performance. It is thermally bonded and impregnated with a proprietary tackiflier to achieve maximum protection against fiber release and migration of paint-damaging particles larger than 10 microns. The material is stable and will not release fibers or particles when subjected to system vibration or varying temperature conditions that are typically encountered in most body shop environments.
Camfil Farr CDM Media:
- Is designed for 87% initial efficiency on particles in the range of 7-10 micron on clean media, improving to 95% efficiency as the media loads.
- Panels and links provide the highest level of uniformity to paint spray booths where control-led airflow is a requirement.
- Is self-extinguishing and rated UL 900 Class 1. The media is also resistant to evaporated solvents and 100% silicone-free.
- Is rated for temperatures up to 100° C (212° F).
- Is available in panels, links and cubes.
- Is available with a downstream scrim to reduce fibre contamination (CDM-R1/S).
CDM-R1's progressive media density provides paint finishing customers with the most desired product characteristics (long filter life, high fractional efficiency, good dust holding and low maintenance costs).
