The Camfil Farr Magna-Grid is a factory assembled Absolute filter support module designed to ensure that the system efficiency equals the filter efficiency.
The Camfil Farr Magna-Grid:
- Is constructed of all-welded 3.5” deep 11-guage galvanized channel steel (also available in 304SST or mild steel). All sealing surfaces are ground smooth to ensure a leak free filter to grid seal.
- Incorporates swing bolt filter fastening assemblies with equi-bearing clamps to provide uniform filter sealing pressure. This method assures specified filter performance by sealing each filter to leak proof specifications (recommended 50% gasket compression).
- Includes filter support flanges for proper replacement filter alignment. Filter service is simplified to allow the technician to properly fasten swing bolts and assure proper gasket compression.
- Accommodates standard 24” by 24” and 12” by 24” absolute filters in either 6” or 12” depths. · May be ordered in configurations from 2 filters high by 2 filters wide to 4 filters high by 5-1/2 filters high. Modules may also be combined to meet any air handling requirement.
- Is easy to install. Peripheral stitch welds to duct work, screws or bolts, and lags through the Magna-Grid’s built-in curb base is all that is required.
- Is available with an optional absolute prefilter kit that allows the installation of absolute filter, ASHRAE high efficiency filter, and prefilter in one assembly.
Absolute filter integrity is not compromised during prefilter service. The Magna-Grid is guaranteed to provide a scannable seal on the downstream side, when filter elements are properly installed. Filters are available in efficiencies from 95% at 0.3 microns to 99.995%.
