Compact Filters

Sofilair Green

Camfil Farr’s Sofilair Green is a high-capacity HEPA filter. The glass fibre paper media is ideal for final filtration applications and is combined with a plastic frame construction for a completely incinerable filter.

  • Totally incinerable
  • High air flow rates
  • Light weight construction
  • New ergonomic handle to assist with filter changes
  • Corrosion resistant
Application: High efficiency final filtration in air conditioning systems, extraction from corrosive or hazardous environments.
Type: High air flow incinerable HEPA filter.
Frame: ABS.
Media: Glass fibre paper.
Separator: Hot-melt beads.
Sealant: Polyurethane.
Gasket: One piece half round continuous gasket.
EN 1822 efficiency: E10, E12, H13, H14.
MPPS efficiency: E10:>85%, H13:>99.95 & H14:>99.995%.
Recommended final pressure drop: 600 Pa.
Maximum air flow rate: See table, use nominal values otherwise a reduction in efficiency may occur.
Temperature: 60°C maximum in continuous service.
Mounting systems: Front and side access filter frames. Terminal housings and safe change systems.

Sofilair is designed for handling large air volumes, features Camfil Farr’s unique pleating design and offers the following advantages:

  • High air flow rates, up to 4,000 m³/h per hour
  • Light weight due to plastic frame (completely incinerable)
  • Compact construction
  • Individual test certificate according to EN 1822
  • New ergonomic handle

Standard versions of Sofilair Green are equipped with a PU gasket.

The filter consists of micro-glass fibre media in efficiencies from 95% to 99.995% @ MPPS (filter classes E10-H14 according to EN 1822).

The media is pleated using Camfil Farr’s Controlled Media Spacing™ technology. CMS™ ensures optimized filter element depth and pleat spacing, resulting in minimized configuration losses and low resistance to air flow. Continuous hotmelt separators ensure uniform pleat spacing and form a rigid self-supported media pack.

To ensure that the expected operating life is achieved, very high efficiency filters should be protected by effective pre-filtration (F7/F8) using Hi-Flo, S-Flo or Opakfil.
